Product Description Practice Tests With Question-by-Question Strategies and Tips That Help Students Build Test-Taking Skills and Boost Their Scores\n\nBy Michael Priestley\n\nStudents are sure to succeed in standardized tests, thanks to meaningful and relevant hints from the "Test Tutor." Designed to resemble various statewide tests, the three practice tests in this book offer different levels of scaffolding that help students understand what to look for in each question and how to answer the question. Students can work through the tests with a teacher, parent, or tutor -- or on their own by reading the Test Tutor's helpful tips. A detailed answer key identifies correct responses and explains why the other choices are wrong. A great way to build students' confidence in taking tests!\n\n96 pages 8 1/2" x 11"\nGrades 3

Customer Reviews: Test Tutor January 17, 2010 Deborah Vickery (Antioch, CA United States) I homeschool and used this to help prepare my 3rd grader for the upcoming STAR test. This book has three full length tests for math, the first two come with explanations and tips. My daughter took the first one and it showed me the standards we haven't taught and the standards we need to reteach. It was easy to use, friendly and good practice for standardized testing. I think it's helpful for students to see a variety of directions and formats beyond the main textbook.
